Polish Delicatessen

                   息子のサッカーチームにはカナダならではの多国籍のメンバーが集まっています。
　　　　　　　その中のポーランド人のチームメイトのおばあちゃんから美味しいデリカテッセンの
　　　　　　　お店を教えてもらい早速出かけてきました。
　　　　　　　　　

ポーリッシュデリカテッセンと言えばStarskyが王道ですが、おばあちゃん曰く

こちらのほうが規模は本当に小さいけど美味しいとのこと。

外から店内の様子が全く伺えないので、教えてもらっていなかったら

少々入りずらいかも・・・。

 

 

木曜日には焼きたてが手に入るそうで木曜日に行ってみると・・・

見るからににジューシーな焼きたてハムがトップに並んでいました。

 

 

 

早速子供たちのランチ用にロメインレタス、モッツァレラチーズと

ともにバターを塗ったバケットにサンド。

 

 

 

My son's teammates are from all over the world.That's what Canada is.

One of them is from Poland and his grandma recommended a very small

but a nice family owned polish delicatessen.

 

 

As for polish delicatessen, Starsky is very popular among us.

But she also told me that the Polcan tried not to use chemicals and preservations as less as possible.

That's a very good news for us.

 

 

Freshly baked ham is available every Thursday.

I went there on Thursday and I found a lot of freshly baked ham on the top shelf.

It looked sooooo good.

 

 

 

 

After I went back home, I made sandwiches with ham,cheese and lettuce for my kid's lunch.

It was so good.

Juicy, tender....my kids love it.
