Strawberry Picking

　　　　　　　　　　　The first day of summer holiday, we went for strawberry picking.

 

 

広大な敷地、ここから見える全てがイチゴ畑。

 

All these greens are strawberry fields.

 

 

小ぶりだけど柔らかくて瑞々しいイチゴたち。

 

Very tiny, but very fresh and juicy.

 

 

 

帰りはこんなワゴンに揺られながら帰ります。

After we've finished picking strawberries, we got on the tractor and moved on to  the trail.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

一番初めにここに来た時は娘がまだカーシートに乗ったままの０歳児でした。

　

二人とも大きくなりました。

 

 

When we came here for the very first time, my daughter was a little baby

and my son was 4yrs. They grew up so fast.

 

 

 

ここへ来るとこれも楽しみの一つ。農場で採れたフルーツでアイスを作ってくれます。

ストロベリーが一番おいしいのですが、今年はなんだか冒険したくて

私だけブラックカラント(カシス）に。想像以上に酸っぱかったけれど

暑いときにはこれくらい酸味があるものも美味しい。

 

 

One of the attractive things here is home-made ice cream!

I think strawberry is the best, but I ventured a black currant today.

It's much more sour than I thought but it's delicious in such a hot weather.
